Can dogs eat the cooked leaves of beets?

Not only can they eat eat beets, it's recommended. Beets contain high concentration of natural source betanin ( a strong antioxidant), Vitamins B and C, folate, iron, potassium, and magnesium. Beets help support allergy control, healthy weight, energy levels, inflammation relief, antioxidant levels and immune system. Beets also pack a powerful punch for cleansing the liver. I feed my two dogs dehydrated beets with every meal. I re-hydrate them prior to feeding and it only take a couple seconds for them to return to their fresh appearance.
