Working in a restaurant means you feel you are always the one doing the "serving."

The never getting caught up can be taken as your feelings that the demands on you are overwhelming and those making the demands are insatiable.

Take a good look at your life, do you honestly feel your work or your family are unfairly putting too much pressure on you to always do more. If so, it might be time to address these issues. No one can always be the "giver", if they are eventually they have no more to give and everyone suffers.
