Who invented manga and when?

manga arrived in the early 18th century - manga has been made over many many years (Centuries work) but the style you know today was made by the God of manga, Osamu Tezuka. He became famous after making the first true manga called New Treasure Island (And by first true manga I mean like the ones you know today) Osamu made speed lines and the whole "big eyes" factor. He created the first shojo and set the path for every single artist today. But I suggest you just go on the internet and find out yourself ^^ There is just so much information.
