Where is the starter lcated at on a 05 Volvo s-40?

On a 2005 Volvo S40, the starter is located on the lower side of the engine, near the transmission. To access it, you may need to remove the engine cover and possibly some components in the vicinity. It is situated towards the front of the engine bay, near the battery and the oil filter.
