Who owns anthem?

Anthem Life is a seperate company that is one of the largest employee benefit providers in the United States. They provide employee health, life, dental, etc group coverage for thousands of groups. I have written group insurance through them in the past and they do a very good job at what they do. I believe they are based in Indiana and like most large group health insurance companies have merged with and absorbed several smaller companies over the years.
