Who is the author of The Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf?

The Three Little Pigs was first included in The Nursery Rhymes of England around 1886 by James Orchard Halliwell-Phillipps. However, the most well-known version of the story appeared in English Fairy Tales by Joseph Jacobs, first published in 1890 and crediting Halliwell as his source.
