There is no easy- or hard and fast answer to the question! Fact is the Cartoons were syndicated in a variety of publications. This is standard practice with a good many Newspaper Comic strips. There are some built-in problems- usually they tend to be ( World-Rounded) like Junior Editor"s Quiz- a sort of educational comic panel- not really a strip- that ran for many years in the Hudson Dispatch. closer to home- the Dick Tracy comic strip was run (Simulcast) in the New York Daily News AND the Los Angeles Times in the same time-synch. a nice way to follow old comics clandestinely is to request Microfilms of the LA times ( they"ll think your researching Hollywood) rather than Daily News. the content was identical. Some TV cartoons were also syndicated- and this may explain the lack of Theme songs for some.
