When this girl met me in the hallway why did she stare deeply into my eyes for about 4 seconds and then shyly say sorry and walk away?

Maybe she wanted to tell you something like that she really wanted to but then chickened out or she could of zoned out and just happened to be stareing at you. The only sure way of knowing is if you ask her.
