How much does a carpenter charge to make basic kitchen cabinets?

I wish I knew where you lived because that is different. Stock cabinets ( from a box store ) can run anywhere from 175- 400 per running foot ( uppers and lowers) but that is not installed.

A decent shop can build and install standard type cabinets for 200-400 per running foot and will usually install.

Our standard price is 280 a foot, includes uppers, lowers, pullouts in lowers, full extension glides on the drawers, design, delivery and installation.
