What does epitomized mean?

Epitome is Greek ( I think) for the last Word. As in the best of something: Rolls Royce produce the epitome of motor cars. Pizza is the epitome of good taste ! ( I jest !) If something is epitomized then it has been raised to perfection in some way or other, it has become the best.
