it actually did land there more then once In actual fact I can vividly remember a regular Airfrance & BA concord service from Leeds to New York in 2001/02, but after the concord tragedy the route was cancelled I remember seeing it land there at least twice a week depending on passenger loads I believe the largest aircraft type ever to land at Leeds Bradford Airport thus far was a 747-100 with Ward air & British airways backin 1984 from Toronto Canada this was a little before my time although, I have seen the pictures that prove it to be so also I can remember flying from there to Heathrow with Bmi (British Midland Airways) later British Midland International many times myself from 2000-2003 as this was my closest & most convenient airport when I lived in Harrogate.
