Did subaru make a 2 wheel drive car?

The only 2 wheel drive vehicles that Subaru currently produces for North America are the BRZ line. They are Subaru's first mass production RWD, and it is a coupe sports car that was developed with Toyota. The only other 2WD vehicles Subaru produces are small Kei cars in Japan. Subaru is the authority for AWD.
