Why do you always dream of having a daughter?

Dreams about being pregnant and/or having a baby almost always are metaphors for some object or task that needs to be developed and brought to completion in your life.

BUT, if you have been sexually active, you absolutely should get yourself to the drug store for a pregnancy test. If you are pregnant, get to a health professional and get prenatal care. If you are not pregnant, use protection every time, from now on.

Having said that, it is not unusual for a young woman to dream about having a baby daughter. In the symbolic language of the subconscious mind, the baby girl is yourself; not your past self but the not-yet-apparent woman that you are in the process of becoming. In the subconscious, a person who is still developing is represented literally, as a baby.
