Whoed Your Question?The s.com username or IP address (internet computer address, for those users who choose to be anonymous) of
every person who contributed
every answer and
every change is recorded in the "Question history."
If you are signed in, you can click on "Question history" (available under "Question tools" in the blue toolbar on the left) to view all the contributions to a specific question.
Another way of tracking some basic info:
Underneath every answer box you will see "First answer by [username]. Last edit by [username]."
How can you contact someone who answered your question?
- If a contributor wants to be contacted privately, you'll see the contact information on their profile (which you can get to by clicking on their username).
- If the user is a member with a username, you can leave a message on that user's message board. There is a link on each member's profile to the message board.
- There is no way to contact a contributor who is signed in with an IP address.
