What does it mean when he said i will do anything for you?

Well,the Words say it all.The person will do anything....ANYTHING! Some people say to make the other person feel special or glad; What this means is that for ex: you are getting robbed the robber says only one of you could live the other person would sacrafice themselves to save you.What im trying to say if you still don't understand me.

The person will die for you.
