How long has James Blunt been singing for?

Well in the public eye, probably since 2005. He picked up a guitar "and knew he wanted to be a musican" at age 14. But, after he got out of the military, and moved to LA, he got a record deal & became famous because of Youre Beautiful fairly quickly :)
