How do you check the automatic transmission fluid in a BMW 325i?

dont need to check it but for automatic u need to replace it sometimes to do it lift the car up and u will see the filler cap and the empty cap i would say make a mech do it hard job u have to have the car on in idle at the same time nd its verry diff
