How do you fix the master lock of a 2001 VW Passat so it unlocks all the doors on the second click and right now that part of the remote key is not working?

The most common way to do this is to use a program called Vag-Com by Ross-Tech. (www.ross-tech.com). If you find someone who owns a copy of the software, this setting can be changed under the Central Locking System module or the Comfort Control Module.
