Your 2001 Mercedes ml320 constantly says wait what are you doing wrong?

If the stereo says wait, it means you need to re enter your stereo code. You have to turn the car to the ignition where the car is on, and let it stay on for 15 minutes, then the " code " light will come back on. Once you see code, then you enter the code from factory, it should be in your handbook. If not you can call a Mercedes dealer and give them your vin nimber and they will give you the code assigned to your vehicle. good luck

If anyone has figured out how to actually do this please respond. Mine will not let me reenter a code after the 15 minutes. It shows "code" but pushing number buttons has no effect.
