Where is the fuel cap release lever on a Volvo v40?

In a Volvo V40, the fuel cap release lever is typically located on the driver's side, near the floor, to the left of the driver's seat. It is often marked with a fuel pump icon. To open the fuel cap, simply pull the lever toward you, which will release the cap on the fuel door.
