What similar alternatives are there to a furby toy?

The Furby is an electronic robot toy resembling a hamster or owl. There are many 'intelligent' type toys like the Furby on the market. There is the Paro which is a 'healing robotic seal', a Pleo which is a robotic dinosaur toy pet and i-cybie which is a robotic dog. These all do similar things like a Furby such as interaction and/or speech.
