What country is Dyfed in?

Dyfed was the name of a county council that existed in Wales between 1974 and 1996. Once covering most of west Wales, it has since been replaced by three smaller counties: Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.

The name Dyfed is still in common use - some businesses use it in their names, as do the Police.
