- Some married men are either bored with their wives or want to recapture their youth, but it does not always mean they do not love their wives. If they did not love their wife they would certainly file for divorce to be free and the mistress is almost always the loser. Men want sex and a secret relationship because it is exciting, but when it comes to commitment most are not interested. For men that get caught cheating they either fear losing their wives and not seeing any children they may have or, they have no choice but to stay with the wife as they may have a business or other financial gains that he could well lose out on if he gets a divorce or his wife divorces him. His wife has read him the riot act and the only option left for him is to ignore his mistress so it is highly unlikely that the ex mistress will be acknowledged and may in the future be lucky to get a smile or a nod.
I agree i wouldn't accept anything not even a hello from him after 4 month of being ignored. There's a lot of fish in the sea... A lot of single fish too.

It all depend how the married man end up with this mistress. If he told his wife that he will never do it again and will stop calling her, that will be the right decision. But if the married man fell in love with his mistress, he will have a hard time not to call or talk to her.
