Who won the battle of Columbia in the Civil War?

It could hardly be called a battle. It was a continuation of the March to the Sea - destroying the civilian infrastructure that supported the Confederate armies. So now Sherman was putting the boot into South Carolina, as the state that had started the war, and the state capital Columbia was left in ruins and ashes.
