Do you get high from smoking marijuana stems?

You can smoke the stems, however you will not get as much smoke, and the smoke is harsher and tastes not so great. You need to smoke a lot of stems to get high, and when you buy marijuana you usually don't get many stems (unless you know the grower and he can give them to you!). Stems are not very desired among marijuana smokers. So, you can smoke them (often called a "stem bowl") but you will not get very high unless you smoke a lot of the stems. ;)
