Can you be proven guilty if you ran from the police and got away?

Running from the police does not automatically prove guilt in a crime. However, it can be considered suspicious behavior and might lead law enforcement to investigate further. If evidence is gathered later that connects a person to a crime, they can still be charged and prosecuted, regardless of whether they initially fled.
