Was Isaiah in Judah or Israel?

Starting in Isaiah 1:1 the book addresses Judah and Jerusalem with warnings and prophecies from the time of King Uzziah (740 B.C.) to the time of Hezekiah (681 B.C.) leading up to the Babylonian captivity.
