How do you take the CD player out of a gto?

To remove the CD player from a Pontiac GTO, first disconnect the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Then, use a trim removal tool to carefully pry off the trim surrounding the stereo. After that, unscrew the mounting screws securing the CD player in place, and gently pull the unit out of the dashboard. Finally, disconnect the wiring harness and antenna cable from the back of the CD player.
