There are total of eight airports in Egypt, including five international airports of Cairo, Luxor, Ophira, El Arish and Hurghada. Most of the airports in Egypt are located in the eastern side of the country. Cairo International Airport is the main entrance to Egypt and is located in the northeast of Cairo city at a distance of 15 miles. It is the primary hub of Egyptair airline service. Cairo international airport provides a 24-hour duty-free shop, a post office, a hotel reservation service, 24 hour bank service, Travel Insurance services, restaurants and a bar facility along with regular bus and taxi services.
