How much does an RV cost?

An economically-priced RV can be found for around $5,000.00 (USD) in California, 10/01/2010. I keep seeing van campers for $2,000.00 (USD), though. Costs vary greatly depending on size. There are 3 classes and entry-level not much more than a van conversion which is not much more than a new car but they go very large up to city bus size.
