Why are all the parents on iCarly single?

There is no correct answer but.. there are many reasons like:

Carly's dad has a job and never comes on the show

Sam and Freddie's Parents might be divorced

and the rest of the parents are just not there or I'm just to tired to right an answer and gibby's is the same thing as sam and Freddie
