If you are a light brown hair color and you want to go blonde non permanently will it turn your hair a funny color?

Unfortunately, yes. I have light brown hair too and when I tried to die it blond it turned carrot orange. The only way to die your hair blond if you have brown hair is to either die it a very very very dark blond (which would not really be very different to your colour) or bleach it and then die it. Except that would be permanent and does a lot of damage to your hair. So if I were you, I would just keep it brown. Having brown hair is not that bad. Unfortunately, I had to learn the hard way.

PS. : I know this because I tried it before and also I have been a cosmetologist for 25 years now, so trust me, DON'T DO IT.
