Why does Diet Coke eplode higher than normal coke?

Diet Coke tends to produce a more dramatic explosion than regular Coke due to its use of artificial sweeteners, which are less dense and can create a larger volume of bubbles when the carbonation is released. Additionally, the absence of sugar means that the bubbles can expand more rapidly, leading to a higher fountain effect when the can is opened. The physical reaction with Mentos, which is often used in demonstrations, is also enhanced by the lighter composition of Diet Coke.
