Can you get a green card with a simple battery charge?

I was in same boat - I had charges of "Simple Battery" with one year court supervision and anger management class and recently my Green Card approved; It took around 15 months. Simple battery is not a crime of moral turpitude; there is lot of misconception about this: Make sure send original certified copy of disposition letter from county clerk office it would may cost around $3 to $5 - My case were delayed for 3 months because I didn't send original certified copy.
