What are the dangers of having a Direct TV dish?

"The dish mast needs to be grounded and the coax needs to be grounded near where it enters the building. These are code issues. RG series coaxial cables are approved for room to room use. They will not transfer fire. Do not assume. Installer's are known for cutting corners. Professional means getting paid for the work, not being good at it. Grounding the mast to the building's grounding system gives the dish mast the same charge as the earth below the surface. The dish is therefore less likely to attract lightning than the surrounding area."
