How can you tell if you have a loose balljoint on a Nissan maurano?

with the vehicles affected wheel raised off the ground, grab the tire at the 12 oclock and 6 oclock posistions and push and pull the tire in a see saw type manner. there should be little to no movement or noise. if anything gives, continue until you locate the place where the movement/noise occurs
