How long does it take for coffee to go bad?

That's a good question, I googled the very same just as I took a sip of a Starbucks Americano that is probably 3 days old, taste "fine" too me, but to answer your question; a coffee aficionado may disagree, but day old brewed coffee (black) is not a problem, it will just taste bitter, but perfectly safe to drink.
