How can you get the smell of dog out of your newly acquired secondhand car?

Unfortunately, its not always an easy task. I detail cars for a living and sometimes its impossible to get that smell out. The best way to get the most smell out for good is a good cleaning. Start at the headliner, vacuum that and then wipe it down with a damp cloth that has water, if you have simple green that works best diluted with some water. Shampoo the seats and floors and scrub all the vinyl with diluted simple green. This is the best way is just to clean the car up good. Don't forget the Windows, a lot of the smell is held there.
