What tropic runs through Africa?

The Tropic of Cancer runs through Africa. It is located at approximately 23.5 degrees north of the Equator and passes through several countries, including Algeria, Niger, Mali, and Egypt. This tropic marks the northernmost point at which the sun can be directly overhead during the summer solstice.
