Why are there so many ask and answer sites?

money, if a site gets popular, they can advertise annoying games, like that one with the mediocre lady, and somtin about "m'lord" on the side. god i hate that one. or, of course, they can go all out with the REALLY annoying site redirection, wave of different sounds of different ads, video in the corner that expands and follows you, or even the classic popup. I prefer the popup nowadays, you can block em. but i want to strangle whoever came up with the idea "lets make it where, when you arrive at this site, you get flooded with many, many, sound advertisements of many different things, resulting in your PC slowing WAAAAAAAYY down, and you just have to sit there and listen to it..."

in short, they dont want to satisfy your thirst for knowledge, trivial tho it may be, they just want to help those who want your money. a naturally dishonest, sit-on-a-couch business, trying to get money from, and while helping, other businesses that are probably of the same kind. ever notice how the ads for charity are never annoying? they're almost exclusively simple, and they stay in their little ad space bar in a corner. anyway, im just killing time until JST midnight, at which time i can get my evoker's ring.... 3minutes to go... dam im bored... 2 minutes..
