What is brandy warmer?

A brandy warmer is an alternative to warming the brandy balloon by hand. It is a wire cradle with a small T light candle at the base. You light the candle and place the brandy in a brandy balloon in the cradle over the flame and let it warm to the right temperature. Quicker but not as civilized as warming it in your hands!!
