What is the third chakra?

The third chakra, represents the Solar Plexus Chakra which controls intuition or gut instincts and our sense of personal power. It's color is yellow and the gemstone is citrine.

The third chakra is the solar plexus chakra. Sometimes known as the city of jewels for it is a precious powerful link to the body, or by its Indian name, Manipura. It is located between the navel and the bottom of the sternum at the 7th & 8th thoracic vertebrae. Its element is fire and symbolise the ten-petaled lotus flower. The colour used to represent the third chakra is yellow.
