If you have your own personal info, you would exist.
Answer #2
Descartes addressed this. Imagine that everything you perceive is the invention of a demon, whose sole aim in life is to deceive. He could invent a fictitious Universe, a planet, a room; he could create the experience of a body; even thoughts and feelings could be manufactured, and roll past like a film at the cinema. For all that, you are still aware that this is happening; it might be a fiction, you might be being deceived into thinking this stuff really exists when it doesn't; but the demon can't trick you into thinking you exist if you don't. And you think you exist, not because the thought is being screened, but because you are aware that you exist. Anything about your nature, apart from awareness, might be an illusion, or at least illusory; the Buddhists would have it so; but your existence is not in doubt (unless, of course, you are a figment of my imagination....)
