Thin strips of metalic foil used as decorations?

Thin strips of metalic foil can be used as decorations on a Christmas tree (it is called "lamenta"). It can be draped over the branches of a Christmas tree and looks quite nice when the lights reflect of it.

I think it's "lametta".
