How can you prevent spark on your tattoo machine?

spark is not a bad thing. it just shows the cap is fully charged . if you have excessive burning of the springs use a larger cap like a 47uf but a bigger cap makes the machine run slower, you should natch cap size to gap distance,

short gap 22uf medium gap 33uf, long stroke 47uf
