Quiver trees, or Aloe dichotoma, adapt to their arid environment primarily through their unique structure and water storage capabilities. Their thick, fleshy leaves store moisture, allowing them to survive prolonged dry periods. Additionally, the tree's upward-reaching branches and narrow leaves minimize water loss by reducing surface area exposed to sunlight. These adaptations enable quiver trees to thrive in harsh desert conditions, particularly in Namibia and South Africa.
