How do you get to and where is the great bridge of hylia on Zelda twilight princess?

As the story continues, you should come to the missing part in the desert. You can warp it back to the rest of the Bridge of Eldin, and the bridge will be back in working order. But until then, you must go around the entire rest of the map.
