Why is it bad that Poseidon is Polyphemus' father?

See it isnt poseidons fault that his son became bad

poseidon is technically father of all cyclopes

if one of them turned out bad

what could he do ?

it isnt his fault that polyphemus turned into a bad cyclopes

cyclopes are meant to be nice and help in poseidons work

it is not bad for poseidon but it is bad for polyphemus
