Can you paint over fresh painted engine since you did not like the color or do you need to remove all the paint again?

Check the instructions on the paint label to see if there is a maximum time that you can recoat the paint, however, you should be able to recoat the engine in a different color at anytime within a couple of weeks with no adhesion issues at all.
