     Make a list of the evidence you have indicating that the person you want to report is in the country illegally or is committing some other crime. Include any information you may have on how Immigration officials can find and identify the person.

     Call Immigration and Customs Enforcement at 866-347-2423. You will get a recording with basic information that includes a warning to call 911 if you are in a life-threatening situation. Prompts include 1 for filing a new report or adding to a previous report, 2 to get information about a previous report, 3 for law enforcement agencies, 7 for Spanish and 9 for general information.

     Press 1 to file a new report. The recording will inform you that the agency has no obligation to act on all reports, and that making a false report is a crime. You then have the following options: Press 1 to report someone on ICE's Most Wanted List, 2 to report human trafficking or people employing illegal immigrants, 3 to report drug trafficking, 4 to report child exploitation, 5 to report terrorist activity, 6 to report banking fraud or money laundering and 7 for all other reports (use this option to report illegal aliens).

     Press the number that most closely describes the situation you want to report. You will be connected to an officer who will take your information.
